Stunning views

I've briefly got on internet connection, with probably just enough to blip this.

I am at the Kielder Marathon in Northumberland and there is no mobile signal. There is stunning scenery at every turn and the peace and quiet is wonderful.

Well, it was until they gave me a microphone to commentate on today's run bike run race over the marathon distance, and the 10km race.

The run bike run was won by the same man as last year, Jared Bethell. Last year he was also 9th in the marathon the next day, and he is doing the marathon again tomorrow.

Let's hope today's 10k winner doesn't pull the same stunt as last year's 10k winner. He caught the bus in the marathon then had the cheek to claim 2nd place!
