Meet Mumble!

This is the special friend who arrived from England in a brown box yesterday, and who used to belong to my best friend forever Dolly. Her mum decided that he should come live with us now. I'll take good care of him. I've named him Mumble after the penguin in a happy movie we all watched together some time ago. A dancing penguin!

Mum and grandpa have put up bubble plastic insulation on the glassed-in balcony. It helps keeping it frost free even if it's very cold outside. Last year mum accidentally turned off the heat fan and several geraniums died. I'll have to keep an eye on her. Which I always do...
