The Joy of retirement.

I've had a very varied day.
 Had a haircut, this morning (OAP rate,of course) then came home and fitted new brake discs and pads to the old Vauxhall Astra. Took it for a test run and then attempted to make a Bara Brith (Speckled Bread, in Welsh). It's a spicy, mixed fruit loaf and we'll find out if that's the case, after tea, tonight ! 
   I must say that I find it easier to do mechanical things than baking but it's nice to try something different, now that I have the time.
