Late sunshine in the Woodland Trust
A dull old morning giving way to some late low afternoon sunshine which lit the trees and remaining leaves as we walked through the Woodland Trust giving today's blip as Susan walked down to the Lilk Stream.
We'd earlier crossed the Lilk on the Bearsted Road and I was going to blip a shot of an area of land that will soon be built on much to the anger and disgust of local people. Several dozens of houses will be built on land susceptible to flooding infilling yet another green space in the village. The development will add even more traffic to village roads and from what I can tell is mainly of the more expensive sorts of homes.
For me, it has been a productive sort of day. Cleared out tons of redundant paperwork which is now ready for shredding and completed TWO tax forms, one for me and one for the business. Good news! Susan spent most of the day in the studio working on her Christmas card for this year. She enjoyed it very much, being in the garden and having space and resources easily to hand.
