Central market
I loved the yogurt I had at the market 10 years ago, so had to go see if they still sold it there and they do. We had a good wander round, had noodles at one of the many eateries there and then got some yoghurt for dessert.
Then we sauntered around Adelaide until it was time to meet Jill at a rooftop bar. From there I took the base picture of the governors house. The current governor is Vietnamese, having come over as one of the 'boat people' in the '70's.
As we walked to the car, the funny beer pedal car passed us. The guys along the side get beers to drink, but have to pedal to keep the cart going.
We were going to the house of Jill's friends Claude and Tom, who are so lovely. When I was thinking about staying in Australia, ten years ago, Claude offered to marry me! He's now retired and fills his days painting and being a domestic god. We chatted so much I neglected to photograph them.
