Cover Up

To make room for the house painters, I had to move my canoe and the wood I store underneath it. I thought it would be a good idea to put things back today -- the sun was shining and rain is forecast for tomorrow. After I took the photo I rolled the canoe on top of the wood to keep it dry.

The wood is the last of my stock of redwood I bought a long time ago. I know it's not very red, but it looks a lot different after the weathered surfaces are planed. I've made five benches out of pieces that looked just like these -- see three of them in the extra.
