Happy Splash

The last morning in camp and another sunny day. After tea and toast we started packing the tents away. It was a much nicer experience than when we had struggled to put it up in the rain. Its been such a great weekend and I have felt completely relaxed and happy. After all the tents were down and the cars packed we headed back down to the beach. Both Amber and Splash had a great time running around and predictably Splash was straight into the sea. She really is as her happiest when she's in water or trying to catch squirrels. Ian had brought a kite to fly but the wind was just gusting which meant a number of crashes into the sea. It was great to see the effort involved in getting it to fly and we all took turns holding it and then rescuing it.

After saying our goodbyes it was back to Mum and Dad's for a sunday roast before heading back to London. A brilliant weekend and especially great to catch-up with Julia and Becky my best friends from Uni.
