Armistice Day

In our village the ceremony starts anytime between 11.45 and 12.10, and as this year is the 100th anniversary of America joining WW1 they played the Star Spangled Banner as well as the Marseillaise. It was a good turnout as usual, and of course Mr F was there in his Veteran's attire and medals!
The other photo is of our mayor laying flower arrangements on the war memorial after the reading out of all the names on it.
