Raking leaves
Saturday
A lovely autumn day, cool, but sunny and calm, so perfect for raking leaves. The trees at the bottom of our garden are practically bare now, though some of our neighbours’ trees still have leaves. The tree shown near the house in the back of my Blip is an oak tree, and will keep many of its leaves well into winter, so our grass is never totally free of leaves for months! I was raking, while Roger was using our leaf blower. We were hard at work all afternoon, and filled our big garden wheelie bin and six large leaf bags! No doubt whenever the wind picks up again, more will come down, but in the meantime it looks a bit neater! Having spent the afternoon working, we decided to treat ourselves to dinner out - Thai food tonight!
