Paint Subiaco Walk

Got to peak behind the scenes of the murals done as part of the ‘Paint Subiaco’ project. The finishing touches are being done today and they are all amazing. We learn about the background to each piece and for meet most of the artists (the only one we missed was up a cherry picker at the time!).

Top left - Hayley Welsh and Juliana do Valle. I featured Hayley on Thursday so it was nice to actually say hello. Juliana is the project manager for the project and our leader for the walk.

Top right - Okuda San Miguel. Friendly Spanish artist painting the mural featured on Monday. It’s come a long way since then! I’m sure it’ll be a blip soon enough.

Bottom - Sioux Tempestt. Normally her work is digital and smaller so making this wall mural was a challenge for her. I like that. It looks great!
