this is another photo of a photograph taken by my grandfather.
he made a lot of pilgrimages in the decades after the wars to pay his respects to the fallen (aka those brutally killed fighting for our country and for others).

the memorial is in St Julien, Belgium.  taken in black and white, he chose to have it enlarged, so i stuck it on the window and todays beautiful sky gave it some colour.
