Off To The Santa Parade.

So we went to see Santa arrive at Helensvale.

We went early expecting a lot of people, but it was quite empty when we got there.  However, it soon started filling up.

It was a bit of a drawn out process, with a few local dance schools going through their paces.  Then a magician, who was late, so one of the dance groups had to go again.

This was all done outside, with one of the roads shut off.  Eventually, Santa arrived, and the parade moved inside the shopping centre.

The children enjoyed it, especially the rather excellent school band, that played carols all around the shopping centre.

Now we know what it's like next year, we'll go later.
