Poppy III

Into town to do our weekly shopping followed by coffee and a visit to Quadrant art gallery nearby to peruse an exhibition of the owners favourite artists in celebration of 5 years since the gallery began.

Some lovely jewellery and modern sculptures and captivating glass pieces. However what really captured my eye was the simple bunch of poppies in a glass jam jar on the counter. So vibrant and zinging. I do love vivid orange and the lighting in the gallery added to the zing......
