Grazing Greylag Geese

I walked the Bayfield Bird Walk today with B and A, it was rather a muddy and at times, a slippery walk, but at least the overnight and early morning rain had stopped and we had occasional bursts of sunshine which lit up the Autumn leaves beautifully.
My blip is of some greylag geese sharing the grazing with cows in the pretty Glaven Valley.  Our usual coffee shop in the woods was closed but happily we still had the chance to enjoy a coffee in the Arts Café at the end of this pretty four-mile walk.
I have also added an extra of the woodland path strewn with golden leaves.
 
Autumn wins you best by this its mute appeal to sympathy for its decay.
