Back to Bath
The plasterboard ordered by the builder at the weekend arrived at 8am. Ben helped the driver unload everything. Jack went to the barber’s down the road to have his haircut. After his second shower of the morning, I dropped him off at Twickenham to catch his train back to Bath. He has run out of money so I gave him £20 so that he could go and buy some groceries when he got back to Bath. I then drove to work. I booked Bibi another driving test but it is not until January. I’m hoping that we will be able to change it. The test changes on the 1st December. Mal the builder had told us at the weekend that he would come over tonight to put the plasterboard up. When I got home, Ben said he had been and showed Ben a very swollen thumb and said that he couldn’t do the work tonight. I knew at the weekend that he would have an excuse tonight.
Ben cooked some burgers for us and I then went to bridge club.
