Inle Lake
Inle Lake is famous for its fishermen, who have perfected a one-leg rowing style to enable them to fish with two hands while steadying the boat or rowing. Somehow word has got out, and the lake is now the centre of a thriving tourism economy, which has helped the region. Once we got clear of the main canal out from the boat jetties, the lake was beautiful in the early morning light. This structure was built as a summer retreat for the British; now it's used by government VIPs.
