Back with the neighbours

Well last night took a turn. Late afternoon the engine overheated.
Had to moor next to the Almond Aquaduct as we lost the light. Quick phone call to the mechanic confirmed a faulty thermostat. Spent the night in a place with no artificial light which was quite nice. 
Limped back to the home mooring this morning. 
The duck is one of a group of four that tour the moorings twice a day looking for titbits.
Enough drama for the week, off to the pub.
