The Sun Broke Through the Drizzle

..... and the rain stopped, leaving a residual rainbow towards the Langdale valley and the Pikes were lit up with the first sunshine. The magic of the Lake District is always somewhere.

We had the AGM for the Boardman Tasker Award trustees in the afternoon, then a lovely meal out. Tomorrow will be an early start to get into a carpark, can you believe? There is so little parking in Kendal that when there is an event on (the Award for mountain literature is part of the Kendal Mountain Festival) parking is particularly difficult.
