And The Winner ....

..... of the 2017 Boardman Tasker Award for Mountain Literature is, Bernadette McDonald for "Art of Freedom", the life and climbs of Voytek Kurtyka. Here she is being presented with the Award by the Chairman. The event was packed as usual and an excellent afternoon was spent listening to the 6 shortlisted authors being interviewed and reading extracts from their books. Pete and Joe would have been proud.
