Happiness is..........

Our favourite local walk on a sunny day.

Mrs DD, two (reasonably) behaved dogs, smoked salmon sandwiches and a mug of steaming coffee.

Down through the river for the dogs to get a good soaking, up over Velvet Hill, drop down into Llangollen and along the river and canal back to the car.

Ice-cream in Llangollen - Mrs DD had earned a flake in hers - and the promise of venison casserole and a bottle of red when we get home.

Hot bath to soak in, Downton Abbey on the box and then bed.

It doesn't get much better.
