In relative terms.....

....I am far closer to one end of this canal that the other this week.

If I'm honest, I'd far rather be somewhere in the middle but don't tell anyone round here. They may get offended.

Had a very pleasant evening stroll along the canal, with a short diversion off it to claim a Geocache.

The photo on the right must be some sort of monument to the old days of the canal with a rather witty 'Unlock' etched into what is clearly two old lock gates.
