Kolkata - Day 5

Our last day in Kolkata as a group was originally planned as a morning in the book market, followed by catching up on editing our work in the afternoon. However, having heard of a good fish market to go to, we planned another early start to go there, before going to the book market later, with reduced time for editing in the afternoon.

Over night the rains moved in and it was a wet morning that we were presented with. We decided to still go to the fish market, in the hope that there would be some cover, which there was (in places). The market turned out to be a retail market selling many things, including fish. We then headed for the coffee shop in the book market for some breakfast. The heavens opened and it was a very wet book market that we were presented with, so only a brief skim around before heading back to the hotel.

After drying out, in the evening we all went out for a meal together in a very nice restaurant. Uber taxis were arranged for us, mine took my group to the wrong restaurant, but we eventually found the right one, on foot, in the rain.

Tomorrow, the last stage of them adventure begins with a return to Delhi, ready for a day's touring Delhi on Friday.
