Today was full of lepidopteran giants !

Seen particularly on these Sedum spectabile, butterfly visitors included this Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell and Peacock.

The final butterfly flying day in our garden last year was 1st November. It will be interesting to see how things go this year, especially after such a bad weather season.
