Crabs in the rain

It's been that sort of day - one for staying inside and catching up with submitting species records for the nature reserve. The furthest I got was a few paces into the garden to take some photos of the magnificent crop of crab apples. They are mostly still staying firmly on the tree so there will be plenty when the thrushes start paying more regular visits to the garden.
