Hull 4 Culture!

After a lazy start and hair cuts with our Yorkshire pal, she persuaded Him Outdoors to join me in heading Hull-wards for our niece's open day trip.

Him and I spent a lot of time just exploring and stumbled upon a great art exhibition in the university library called "An Eye on the Wry". It was so witty and made us laugh out loud. The lovely City of Culture volunteers came and laughed with us and persuaded us to pose for today's blip. So it is by proxy.

It was them who told us about the Observatory which is on top of the library and a wonderful space. I am a bit obsessed with the Humber Bridge anyway and so getting it all in one shot was quite a treat. 

And our niece seems pretty taken with Hull Uni as well. Pub on way home an then Chinese and a catch up on the brilliantly photographed and scripted Peaky Blinders. (I have to watch it with a cushion to hand, though!)
