Wild Purple....

There are lots of this attractive plant growing and flowering in the Taylor riverbed and along the riverbanks at the moment. It is “Linaria purpurea” aka “Purple Toadflax”.... a quite unattractive name for a pretty flower. Maisie can be seen looming up in the background.
We have had several days of cloudy conditions, even cold enough for a fire. It would be great if the cloud produced some much needed rain.
