Busy Hands

Sort of a repeat of yesterday altho we tried to have a “field trip”   Heavy rain, heavy traffic all day.  I drove to an eye appt in one part of town, after which H went to get Fi in another part of town , then we 3 went to the Frye Art Museum in another part of town, in the rain, only to find a note on the door that it was closed due to “building maintenance” (we read “leak:”)  Only later a notice came up on the internet.  H was disgusted by then so we just came home.   Fiona who was ready with her own sketch pad didn’t mind as she’s happy to be here… but being the cheerful soul she is, said that she could cross off one more thing on her bucket list in her mind with the chiming of the bells in the tower of the Catholic church nearby, (!) and wrote me  a coupon to visit her art museum later.  free.    So it was: frost the cookies from yesterday ( they are not that good!) , work on the pilgrims, read more in our  book, and finish the finger knitting.  We also made chocolate chop cookies...much easier...!   and then Mom came to get her and I got to relax and play with my computer but now someone wants dinner I suspect!
