Athens 3

Backblip day 3 of out trip to Athens.

We were continuing our exploration of Athens.
Athens is full of colours and has an unbelivable number of murals.
Athens - so much to discover...
We had to decide what's next. 
Our choice was Mount Lycabettus with a splendid view over Athens and the Panathenaic Stadion. There was the source of the Olympic games and the stadion is still used for events. It must be great to be there for a concert!
We added a visit to the Acropolis Museum to our planning. It is well worth a visit! After this long day we were looking for a place for dinner. 
A friendly Athens gentleman (not one of the thousands of recrutiers) interrupted his way home and showed us a fabulous restaurant in the 6th floor with delicious food and a spectacular view of the illuminated Acropolis. A fabulous finish of a fabulous day!
