Playing tourists

The planned activities on our trip to Loch Lomond were curtailed by the weather.

We decided to brave a trip to the Kelpies despite the mist and drizzle. Lunch was followed by an equally soggy visit to Killin before we headed north. We reached Crianlarich in good time only to find that the road ahead was closed with a 60 mile diversion to Luss.

Suffice as to say we were all very happy to reach the bar at the lodge on the Loch. Another somewhat sweet fancy gin tried but not repeated.

We remain optimistic that we might actually be able to see some scenery tomorrow.
