9 Little Turkeys

We had 14 people over for dinner today.

Thanksgiving dinner is a tough gig. Too many things that have to come together at the last minute. For instance, the big turkey that was in the oven was done, but the two turkey breasts cooking in the sun porch weren't ready. Plus, the juices from the birds have to be drained to make gravy, the potatoes have to be mashed, the rolls taken out of the oven...and on and on and on.

But...everything turned out great. Everybody brought something, I carved the birds, and it all came together.

Merrick is to the point where he doesn't want to pose for me, so I only got one chance. (The other turkeys had no qualms about posing.)
