Weather sweeping through...

The sunshine of this morning came to an abrupt halt at precisely the moment I left home. A very big cloud full of hail caught me at the Hundith Hill crossroads, and then followed me down the Lorton Valley. By the time I climbed to my favourite perch above Crummock Water, the clouds were sweeping down the lake on their way to Great Gable and beyond. 

It was so dramatic that I ended up being quite happy I had left home when I did.
