BND stands for Buy Nothing Day and I am indebted to Jukka Kosonen for bringing it to my attention. The perfect antidote to Black Friday.
My own participation in BND today was to head directly away from the shops and out to Aulanko Forest Park where the trees didn't attempt to force me into buying a single useless and unneeded thing.
