Ski prep.

Off skiing in a couple of weeks and although the skis were in a pretty decent state after my last outing, it's always good to tidy up the edges and ( presented here ) put a fresh layer of wax on.

All the ski shops will sell you fancy irons made by the same people that do the waxes, but the usual substitute has always been a little travel iron of some description.

Unfortunately you can't really get travel irons without a steaming mode these days and this makes them kinda useless for putting wax onto skis.

step up the ( now defunct ) woolworths and their dirt cheap hair straighteners.

Oddly, I've just noticed that this is my 182nd blip and today's subject ( my skis ) are 182cm long... bizarre
