Stepping out !

Today the weather has been lovely, cold but bright and great for a walk so off we went to Lamberets Castle where Mrs M was off striding through the gate(1) . Walking along the edge that faces south west, out to sea,  you could see that all the trees on this side had been clipped by the prevailing wind.  Although the sun was out the large cloud looming up gave us some flurries of hail stone as it passed(2)  Looking eastward over the Marshwood Vale it was clear enough to see Colmer hill(3)
