My Favourite Shop

On the way to Huntingdon races a lorry overturned on the motorway about 2 minutes ahead. So we were all stationary for about an hour while fire engines pushed it out of the way. 

This meant that we would have missed the first two races. A decision was made to turn off and go back to base. A detour took us through the lanes to Thaxted for a coffee stop. A few doors down was a brilliant hardware shop with a window display tempting browsers with a myriad of random items. So you can choose between tennis balls, an amaryllis in a box and rat traps amongst other stuff useful and less so . Would you rather have mothproofer or a model Robin?

As I was window shopping Alistair here came over and introduced himself as an assistant in the store. And he was proud to be photographed in front of the window.
