Trekking around North Berwick

What a beautiful day. The sun was shining and it was so warm in our living room this morning (due to the sun streaming through the windows) that we didn't even need the heating on. Though it was only about 2c outside and that is very cold for both humans & collies?!



Ann decided we couldn't waste such a beautiful day so off we went to North Berwick for a bit of a mooch about. North Berwick is our favourite seaside town and we had ever such a nice trek around. We walked along both of the beaches and then went for a little wander in the park, followed by a stroll down the main shopping street. Ann says it's very annoying walking past interesting shops with a little collie in tow, because she can't just nip in and have a bit of a browse around. Boohoo.



We walked for four and a half miles and by the time we got home at 4pm it was completely dark. We hate these dark evenings. ….................And then do you know what happened?.......................... As soon as we got home, Ann switched all the heating on because Mr Sunshine had disappeared and the flat was freezing and then she said, 'Molly, I'm just popping round to Archie's house because LadyM is giving me her exercise bike.'



Ann has been thinking about getting an exercise bike for a while but didn't want to go to the expense of buying one until she actually knows if she would use it on a regular basis. As luck would have it, LadyM is 'upgrading' so was just going to chuck hers out.  Actually it isn't really her's; she rescued it from the bins a few weeks ago. So cheeky Ann asked if she could have it.



I'm not sure I like the idea of Ann having an exercise bike. If she wants more exercise; why doesn't she just take me for more walks? Anyway, the exercise bike is all set up but apparently it's going to be tested properly tomorrow morning while we're watching Jeremy Kyle??!! Thanks LadyM. xx
