Machen Mountain Sunset

I listened to the Nottingham Forest v Cardiff City game which started at 1pm, whilst Mrs BB went for her long distance swim. Cardiff ran out convincing 0-2 winners to consolidate their position at 2nd place in the Championship.

About 3.30pm we set off up the local mountain and near the top just before we turned around to walk back in the dark, the sun cast gorgeous colours as it vanished and that is captured in the main photo. You can make out the Welsh capital lights in the distance.

The extra was about ten minutes before the main, just prior to exiting what's left of the forest and it's footpath. Part of the golden hour, the sun again cast its colour palette through the trees.
