Battered

Can't resist a battered old door - this was spotted after staggering out from my Irish conversation lesson! Yes, you read that correctly. Robert and I are having beginner lessons with Pól whilst Finola gets to do some serious chatting afterwards. It's impossibly difficult. Two lessons in and we can just about manage to say hello and how are you - dia duit, and conas atánn tú should you be wondering! We are wrecked afterwards and strong coffees are needed beforehand. Fortunately Pól is remarkably patient and very interesting. Just working on my nil ach cúpla focal agam!! ( I can't speak much). And di you know there is no word for yes or no in Gaelige?
