Happy Harry

Archie went off up over the Pentlands today with Annemique and her friend, and her friend's dog - a big collie called Sherlock. He had great fun, and though Sherlock was rather boisterous at times, they played together well. Especially in the MUD. In fact, there was so much MUD, they had to change plans and not go as far as intended, but he still managed to get muddier than I have ever seen him (Extras). Annemique did give him a wash when she got to her friend's home, so even though he wasn’t as grotty when he came home, he went straight into the shower. I shall spend the evening picking small twigs from his entire body, a task I quite enjoy.

Rufus came to visit us in the afternoon while his mum was busy, and he cried the entire time. I think it's better when Archie's here to distract him.

But the big news of the day is that Prince Harry has announced his engagement to an American divorcee of mixed race. How times have changed - for the better. She claimed the proposal was a ‘big surprise’... well, not to anyone else in the world, Megs!

You can see that Archie was very excited to learn this when he came home!
