Pu”uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park

Whew! That is some title, but that’s where this lava rock pool is. We drove south from
Kona to the southernmost point of Big Island before stopping off here on the way back. Katie and Ossian went snorkelling while I wandered about the rocks. I did spot some beautiful Yellow Tang fish where the rocks met the ocean which was nice. The others spotted a whole variety of tropical fish so I was quite jealous, but I am not a snorkeller so I had to make do with my pretty yellow fish and a couple of black and yellow striped Moorish Idols
