Morning Sky

The day started well with lots of colour and contrast in the leaves and trees (Yes - it really was that green).
I also took another couple of shots of the Ink Caps with the top one really beginning to dissolve and drip.

In the afternoon we went to the bank to arrange the loan for the rest of the money due on the car.
We had been told last month that it would be less than we are already paying per month and we had already restructured and changed our outgoings to save quite a few pounds per month so .....
When the girl put everything into the computer it came back and said that we were not getting the loan ..... we were overstetched!
HOW?
We have several hundred pounds more per month and they have been perfectly happy for the past 2 years.
We asked if there was any way this could be overridden ........ No! The computer had made its decision.
Oh - and by the way ........ you now have a black mark on your (previously excellent) credit rating so trying to get finance anywhere else will either be rejected or crippling.
It is no wonder the financial institutions are in such a mess when a computer is the one that makes the decisions and humans and common sense are no longer part of the equation.
This then screws up the lives of the "customers".
I am lucky and can source the money elsewhere - but it puts a dent in my savings/investments. Others could not be so lucky and really face problems on so many levels.

Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed that The Post Office doesn't screw up.
