Red Squirrel

A bit of a red letter day, only the second time I have seen more than a single squirrel in the garden.  This morning after my Sunday lie in there were 2 chasing each other round the lawn and up the trees.  This went of for quite a while until one chased the other across the neighbours lawn and under the garden table (with the cover on).  When it returned to our garden it spent a long time going round the grass as if it was looking for something.

Another event which needs remarked in my journal was Nuthatches, note the plural.  We get a Nuthatch as an infrequent visitor (yes I know Itth you are knee deep in them) but today there were 2.  We have never seen 2 ever before.
