The Moon.

e have started the winter maintenance and deep cleaning at the Lodge so it was a busy morning.  In the afternoon we went up to Carlisle for some of the things we were in need of.  Calling of course at a garden centre (the one which doesn't allow photography).

On the way back down the M6 we noticed the moon was showing well against a blue (darkening) sky.  Living in Cumbria clear skies are not something that can be guaranteed.  We decided to try some moon shots when we got home.  

I experimented digiscoping with the phone but as it was only my second attempt with the gear they were unsuccessful.  Later in the evening the moon was appearing and then being clouded over periodically so in one of the clear spells I took a few shots with the DSLR and x2 converter.
