Elsie Maude Inglis

Elsie Maude Inglis was an innovative Scottish doctor, suffragist, and founder of 17 Scottish Women's Hospitals set up across Europe in World War 1.



She died 26th November 1917. On Sunday, her relatives gathered in Edinburgh to mark her death 100 years ago.
