...porridge' said a wee Scots lad as the punchline of a  'plump up your porridge oats' ad many a year ago.
My dad would definitely have agreed...salt and NO trimmings! for him in his breakfast bowl.

But brekkie at the  moment for me is a bowl of oats with blueberries (huckleberries?), yoghurt and honey.
'that IS how you make... porridge'.
