Testing, Testing, Testing
Continuing the work at the Lodge, things are progressing reasonably well. Then a downpour stopped outside "play".
The K-3 has a considerably higher ISO rating than I am used to. 51,2000 as opposed to 12,800. I decided I needed to know just how noisy the shots would be before I took any seriously anywhere near the ISO.
This is a shot of raindrops on the veranda windows at the Lodge. The stripes in the drops are the light and dark of the railings round the veranda. As I expected it is noisy but I have to say nowhere near as bad as I expected. I felt the top ISO would be totally unusable only being put there for "bragging rights".
