Marple lock 13

An action shot from today's Superlative Walk around Marple. This one is taken in the tunnel under the road that crosses the Peak Forest Canal, by Lock 13. 

Today's superlative is the Marple Aqueduct, the tallest masonry-arch aqueduct in the UK, built 1794 - 1800.

This walk will be on the site by Christmas, by which time we should have 20 walks on there.
