The things I found...

cleaning out the flower bed by the back steps.   A cardinal feather..of all the feathers that have found me this is the first cardinal feather!   A lacy hickory leaf stem with a tiny pine cone caught in it.  A big pine cone spread out and eaten down by something.  A red rock which I am sure came from out west but I don't know why it was in the flower bed covered up with mulch.  

Nature gives the most wonderful gifts!
