Belt and Braces!

Here is the new wall with very technical 'breathable' liner which is part of Russell's belt and braces solution to our damp.  At the time of writing I can hear him covering this with the plasterboard before skimming tomorrow.    He was glad to be working indoors today with the cold temperatures, after three days rebuilding the external wall with damp proof membranes.  He has given us his opinion of refitting the bookshelf  back in this recess so if anyone can use a large IKEA unit......

And it's snowing, yippee!
