Showery village

The morning was taken up with picking up my dress (yes dress!) from the alterations shop; dropping off some twiddlemuffs; collecting my ordered Christmas jigsaw and a bit of litter picking before the showers arrived.

We called in to the village fish n chip shop to get lunch and to sign their book of support.  The proposed building development in the centre of the village is threatening their survival, it's unclear why as they are well out of the way of where the access road is planned.

This afternoon Tony went out for a trial run as part of his recovery and that went well.  I briefly nodded off on the settee and awoke to the neighbours' children looking through the window to see which animals had appeared!  Showers went through in waves this afternoon with the sun occasionally breaking through to light up the houses below.
